The Morton Police Department has a limited number of tickets available for the Hero Bowl, an all-star football game featuring Delaware County High Schools. Proceeds support scholarship aid for children of first responders who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Last week, The Morton Police Department teamed up with MVP Recovery, specifically the LETI Team and received training on their services!
The LETI Team presented and trained our department on the Delaware County Law Enforcement Treatment Initiative (LETI) program. Through LETI, coordinated by the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, MVP is working with Police Departments throughout Delaware County to identify and assist individuals with substance use disorders, offering them the opportunity for treatment instead of incarceration.
We would like to give a HUGE thank you to Corpral Leo Doyle from Ridley Township Police Department and Phil Waibel from MVP Recovery for providing this training and helping our community!

Morton Police Chief Ken Lawless and Officer Franco Collier participated in "Read Across America" week by reading to preschool students at the Step by Step Learning Center and students at the Springfield Literacy Center.
